Many of my patients are new to the concept of cosmetic lasers, and are understandably concerned about their use. They have heard so much about the potential of lasers to damage and permanently scar the skin, and often are swayed by claims made in the media and advertising about the ability of various creams or beauty treatments to replace the effects of laser treatments.
